I have just joined this website and, using the Google Map feature, discovered that there is another member residing in Ontario. What is the protocol for making contact? or am I doing that now?
Posting a query like you did works fine. I've also just enabled a feature on the map that will give the user name of the person associated with a marker. If you click on the marker, it will take you to the public page for that user which will let you contact the user.Enabling the contact feature should make it simpler to get in touch with people near you.
